It's Been One Helluva Run.
Life is magical. And unpredictable. And if you're doing it right, it will change you.
I started THE Q.PSIENCE PROJECT in 2013 with the intention of asking - and hopefully, answering - some very personal and fundamental questions about the "why" and "how" of life.
8 years in, after much deep self-reflection, I've come to acknowledge that all of the questions I set out to answer, have been answered for me. I've contributed what I can in regard to this specific line of inquiry - and in alignment with my personal beliefs, it's time for me to move on, and grow and evolve in a different direction from here.
I have retired THE Q.PSIENCE PROJECT from KGRAdb, effective immediately. I am grateful for Race Hobbs, for KGRAdb, and for all of my guests and dedicated listenership for making the show what it was. I'll work with KGRA to make sure that one way or another, the Q.PSIENCE archive remains available for future listeners, whether at KGRA or on a platform I host myself.
I don't know that THE Q. has a place moving forward. What I do know is that I've spent the past 8 years with my nose in books, behind a computer - researching and immersed in my inner world - and I'm in desperate need of rejoining the outer world. I need to catch up on experiences. I'm shifting focus to my other passions - writing, treasure hunting, roller skating, photography, camping, and transitioning to nomadic life in an RV. The world is about to become my backyard.
The fate of qpsience.org is TBD - to be alerted of future projects and ventures, check back regularly to jillhanson.com. I do plan on continuing to interview the people that fascinate me and inform my personal journey, and maintaining a record my off-road journey through life - so watch for my much more personal/casual contributions on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch.
Thank you all again - each of you has played a role in the most transformative growth period of my life.
Best,
Jill
